Philly Boy's Lacrosse Preview: Suburban One Leagues (National, American, Continental)

Top 100 Recruits:

Joey Jones, Abington, Senior Attack, Committed to Hofstra - All-American, First Team All-State and All-League (National). Scored 56 goals and had over 70 assists last season as Abington took home another Suburban One National title

Rich Rambo, Abington, Senior Midfielder, Committed to Hofstra - All-American, First Team All-State and All-League (National). One of the most imposing midfielders in the area, Rambo has the ability to dominate games from up top.

Kenneth Warren, Pennsbury, Senior Attack, Committed to Manhattan - First Team All-League (National). Warren had 42 goals last year and had a strong summer. Should be Pennsbury's main threat throughout the season.

Sean Reilly, CB East, Face-Off Specialist, Committed to Navy - Reilly's a nationally ranked face-off specialist who controlled possession throughout the District 1 playoffs last year.

Eddie Coombs, Hatboro-Horsham, Senior Midfield, Committed to Marist College - First Team All-League (Continental). Coombs has a high lacosse IQ and burns defenders with his athletic ability.

Brian Urban, Central Bucks East, Snior Attack, Committed to St. Joseph's - Third Team All-League (Continental). Urban should explode for more goals this season, as he had a great summer.

Ryan Mullen, Hatboro-Horsham, Senior Defenseman, Committed to Penn State - First Team All-League (Continental). Mullen is the #1 defensive presence in the league and will be a lockdown defender this season.

Beau Gomez, Wissahickon, Junior Defenseman, Committed to Navy - First Team All-League (American). Gomez had an impressive summer and looks to shut down opponents #1 attackmen for the second year in a row.

Shawn Kaplan, Plymouth Whitemarsh, Senior Face-off/Midfield, Committed to Ohio State - Second Team All-League (American). Kaplan is ranked as one of the Top 20 FOGO's in the nation by Face-Off Club.

Colin Joka, Plymouth Whitemarsh, Junior Attack – First Team All-League (American). Joka was one of the area's leading goal scorers last season with 37. Look for that number to rise, and him to commit to a D1 program in the near future.

Nate Hare, Upper Merion, Senior Attack - First Team All-League (American). Hare is one of the top candidates for league MVP coming into the season. Hare scored 58 goals last year and received te Duke's LC Peter Ortale scholarship award.
